Born 1964 in Essen.
1983 to 1986: Fiscal studies at College of Finance in Nordkirchen and trainee financial inspector at the Essen-Nord Revenue Office, concluding with a German degree in fiscal law. 1986 to 1988: Financial inspector at the Essen-Nord Revenue Office.
1988 to 1991: Worked in the range of tax consulting.
1992 to 1988: Studied law at the University of Cologne.
1999 to 2001: Trainee lawyer at Düsseldorf Regional Court.
2001 to 2002: Solicitor with specialisation in fiscal and company law at Wessing Solicitors (now Taylor Wessing Solicitors) in Düsseldorf.
2002 to 2003: Public prosecutor in Oldenburg. 2003 to 2004: Judge at Oldenburg Regional Court.
2004: Re-admitted as solicitor in Bonn. 2004 to 2008: Solicitor in fiscal law, tax offences law and company law at Konicek, Weber & Colleagues Solicitors.
From 2008: Solicitor at Wessing Lawyers’ Office with specialisation in tax offences law.
Lecturer at the law school of the University of Düsseldorf.
