Granted the title “Specialized Attorney” in Labor Law in 1993 by the German Bar Association.
Partner of a national commercial law firm until 1997. Attorney with Wessing II Verjans law firm since then.
Study of Medicine at the University of Düsseldorf 1995-2005.
Licensed to practice medicine since 2005.
“Dr. med” (Doctor of Medicine, equivalent to Ph.D.) 2007. Thesis with the title: "Behandlungsfehlervorwürfe in der Anästhesiologie - Eine retrospektive Studie auf der Grundlage der Tätigkeit der Gutachterkommission für ärztliche Behandlungsfehler bei der Ärztekammer Nordrhein in den Jahren 1976 - 2004 - Ausblick auf Fehlerkultur und Fehlermanagement in der Medizin."
