Study of Law: 1992-1997, Universities of Leipzig and Dresden.
1997 to 1998 Research Assistant at the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure (Professor Otto Lagodny), Law School of the Technical University of Dresden (TU Dresden).
“Rechtsreferendariat” (Mandatory legal internship/clerkship) 1999 to 2001, Dresden and Strasbourg.
Admission to the German Bar in 2002.
“Dr. jur” (equivalent to PhD/SJD) completed in 2004, Thesis: "Criminal Law Enforcement according to the NATO Status of Forces Agreement and the Practice of International Labor Division in Criminal Proceedings"; Award “Best Dissertation of the Year” (2004) granted by the Law School of the TU Dresden.
In 2007 title “specialist lawyer in criminal law” (Fachanwalt für Strafrecht) granted by the German Bar Association.
Work experience as an attorney: 2002 to 2005 in Dresden; 2005 to 2007 in Heidelberg and Koblenz; since May 2007 Wessing Rechtsanwälte.
