Christian Heinelt advises and represents individuals and corporates in the entire field of commercial and tax criminal law. A particular focus of his legal work is on the area of IT and data protection criminal law (cybercrime).
Christian Heinelt studied law at the University of Heidelberg and the University of Bergen in Norway with a focus on tax law. After graduating, he worked for several international law firms in the areas of tax law and commercial criminal law, and was a management consultant with a leading US consultancy.
Christian Heinelt completed his legal clerkship at the District Court of Duisburg. He completed a stage at the department for commercial and tax criminal law of the public prosecutor’s office in Duisburg, at the Ministry of Finance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, and for Wessing & Partner.
Christian Heinelt joined Wessing & Partner in 2022.
