Corinna Hannig, LL.M. (University of Glasgow)

Corinna Hannig, LL.M. (University of Glasgow), advises and represents individuals and companies in all areas of commercial and tax criminal law.

While studying at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, she focused on criminal law and gained practical experience as a research assistant at a law firm in Frankfurt am Main specializing in commercial and tax criminal law. She also completed an LL.M. program at the University of Glasgow, writing a master’s thesis on international criminal law, which she completed with honors.

She completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Frankfurt am Main Higher Regional Court and gained experience at a major international law firm specializing in white-collar crime and at the German Embassy in Tbilisi, Georgia. Both during her training and after completing her legal clerkship, she devoted herself to her doctoral dissertation on asset forfeiture under criminal law at Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.

Since being admitted to the bar by the Düsseldorf Bar Association in 2026, Corinna Hannig, LL.M. (University of Glasgow), has been practicing law at the law firm Wessing & Partner.

She advises her clients in German and English.
